WiP Wednesday #16

It's been a wonderfully busy week, craft-wise. I'm still steadily working away to restock my Etsy shop, and part of that has been making needlebooks.

About half of them still need pages, and most of them still need buttons. I think the buttons are my favorite part, probably because they're not at all structural. There's no pressure to picking them out and sewing them on. I'm hoping to get these completely done this week. Wish me luck.

Mom's quilting group has been good enough to save their scraps for me. I've also been turning this:

Into this (covers for needlebooks):

If you'd like to read more about my WiPs, please click on any of the images above to visit my blog. :) We had a few brave link partiers (is that even a term? It is now.) last week. Here are two who really caught my eye.

Collette from Poppy & Poochie is a paper piecing pro. Check this out.

What precision! I love those colors, too. You can click on the image above to visit Collette's blog, or here to visit her Etsy shop.

Ann from Magpie Quilts shared a custom order twin-sized quilt, as well as some outdoor and equine work-in-progress.

WiP Wednesday #15

Welcome back to Work In Progress (WiP) Wednesday here at the Idaho Etsy Team Blog. As usual, I'm Jerimi, from Three Cat Limit. It's been a busy couple of weeks! Many, many thanks to Pamela, from Pamela's Quilts for covering last week's WiP. I hope your week was happily full of good things. On the crafty side of things, I've been making needle books. Lots and lots of needle books.

Here's a look at some of the book covers in-progress.

Some fun new fabric I found online. Can't wait to use this!

One of the completely finished books.

There are 11 completely finished ones. I have 40 that still need to be flipped, top-stitched, and have buttons added. FORTY. How cool is that? It's not every week that's this productive.

Sweet Dreams by Sarah shared a crazy amount of progress with us last week, from a new blog design to gardening to quilting. Check it out.

I love those fabrics! If you'd like to check out her nifty new blog design and read more about her work, just click on the image above. You can also visit her Etsy shop here.

Ready to share what you're working on? I'd love to see!

WiP Wednesday # 14

Welcome to Works in Progress Wednesday this week - I am Pamela (of PamelaQuilts), filling in for Jerimi this weekend!  Jerimi has a busy schedule at work, and I have some free time, so we decided that I would have the privilege of doing the post this week.  Yay!

I just graduated my youngest daughter from High School so am having fun working on some projects that I've been neglecting this week.  I had a stack of Strip blocks in a variety of sizes that I was shuffling around the sewing room because I didn't have enough of any one size to do anything with.  I decided to trim them up to a consistent size and sew them together - isn't this a load of scrappy fun?  Sorry for the bad photo - I seem to like to blog in the evenings when you can't take a good picture.

It looks a bit like the quilt Char uses for her icon on her blog!  I loved seeing this project she was working on last week - those prints are lovely! Check out her Etsy shop - Clothstitched

So...now is your chance to give us a peek at what you are working on this week!  Link up to your blog and show off your fabulous work in Progress - don't be shy, I know you are working on something awesome...
